The BoSS (Bo as in Diddley and SS as in my old Chevelle) One of the first guitars I built.  This will never be sold. It has a humbucker and an internal mic (Cobra CB Radio element). I built a sympathetic resonator out of the thick foil from my chicken dinner (see silver through rosette). It has a great tone, incredible mojo and we've had some adventures together...                       I built this case years later, after a 3 month hospital stay for an injury. With no money for hardware, I used pieces of leather for the closures and to cover the screen door hinges. I took apart a Radio Shack 15 watt amp and built it in (it can be powered with a lantern battery). I used leather to strap in 8 harmonicas and the original Jawbone Harp Mic. I call this 'Bluesman in a box' and also 'the Blues Confessional. Design an acoustic/electric shape around the neck, of course. The wood came from a local tavern who used it to protect his windows during Hurricanes Francis and Jeanne. This instrument was the inspiration for the Honey Dripper Guitar. It's two planks nailed together, with bailing wire strung between nails. She makes a scratcy, old blues sound played with a bottle slide.                                Fever Bass Commissioned for Ellen Manning.  This is a mostly hollow body, short scale bass.   A simple 1 pickup/1 volume configuration.                                                                                   Romeo & Julietta                                                          A double broomstick neck                                                         Cigar Box Guitar.  Four strings with                                                        P-Bass pickups.  Another one I'll                                                         never sell, too special to me.                                                                                                  I need better pics of this before I show it off.                                                         The 'Boat Paddle'  A prototype for a travel guitar.  Very sensual...  Want one?  I'd love to put this into production but have too many client guitars to finish,  and more coming in all the time.  If I get enough interest I'll jump on the chance  to get a production design together.  I'd have no choice, right?  Let me hear from you...                                                   A prototype for another harp mic - called the Hot Dog Bun.  It attaches to the  harmonica and has a cut channel for blow-thru, to allow hand effects.  One of these days I'll find a source for the 2 small elements and offer it in production.  It's perfect when hand held and also in a harp rack.  Let me know what you think... Another prototype for a small, hide-in-your-hand harp mic (my favorite). I have the materials and this will be available in production soon, I already made sawdust progress! It has a dynamic, magnetic element (like a bullet) and a cleaner face than this.   It's available in Purpleheart, Leopardwood, Zebrawood, Chechen, Machiche, Tulipwood, Chakte Viga and Granadillo.  Pretty exotic, huh?  Be the first on your block to own one! These are completely hand shaped, like the Jawbone, with no two the same. Let me know if you'd be interested, I'll move it closer to the top of my To-Do List! Or just call and order one and I'll have no choice!!!                            The 'GigCig'.  Protect your guitar from burns, and be able to take a puff while you play. This will be in production soon, It got a GREAT response.  Ask me about the weird pick in the photo...                A resonator Cigar Box Guitar that really sings, and an early CBG .                                                   A great plank Lap Steel.  I got too busy to electrify it.  On the right is the HumVee, which will be in production once I get a spare minute to finish the design model.  This is a great guitar, and the production model looks to be even better.  The Taser, one of the coolest things I've made.  It's available now and can be modified with your choice of pickups and hardware.  This is an easy one to make leftie, I just make the headstock mirror image and mount the controls on the other edge.
